Lapponia Jewelry Webshop terms and conditions
These terms and conditions (hereafter the “Agreement”) contains the terms and conditions of the use of Lapponia Jewelry Webshop at www.lapponia.com (hereafter the “Webshop”) owned by Kalevala Koru Oy (Business ID: 0109579-3, hereafter “Kalevala Jewelry”). When a person (hereafter the “User”) orders a product or products from the Webshop (hereafter the “Products”), the User agrees to be bound by the Agreement.

The use of the Webshop
For our Finnish, Swedish and German clients the following payment options are available:
- Credit cards (Visa, MasterCard)
- Online banking
- Klarna Invoice
- Klarna Account (instalments)
Our other international customers have the following credit card options: American Express, Visa, Visa Electron ja Mastercard.
For payment with credit cards, the User is charged in real time, through the payment gateway. Lapponia Jewelry is using secure payment system of leading financial entities in electronic commerce in order to keep up maximum security of the payment (SSL technology). Lapponia Jewelry does not have access to the User’s credit card numbers and they will not be saved on Lapponia Jewelry’s database, not even temporarily.
In order to pay the Products with a Visa Electron card, the Verified by Visa service for online payments must be activated. The Webshop verifies all the credit card transactions before delivering the Products to the User. Lapponia Jewelry reserves the right to reject any order if Lapponia Jewelry has not been able to verify the credit card transaction.
The shipping fees are as follows:
- Delivery inside Finland 5,90 €
- EU deliveries 15,00 €
- Other international deliveries 19,00 €
All the Product prices and delivery charges are displayed in euros (€) or in Swedish Krona (kr) depending on the Webshop locale used.
If the Products are delivered to destination outside the EU, the User is responsible for any customs fees, import duties or other comparable costs. The User acknowledges that the customs policies vary widely from country to country. The User should contact the local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required, the User is responsible for charges related thereto and the User acknowledges and agrees that it can cause delays beyond Lapponia Jewelry’s original delivery estimates.
All Lapponia Jewelry's Products carry a life-long warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Lapponia Jewelry’s warranty provided herein does not include normal tear and wear due to use of the Product. Furthermore, Lapponia Jewelry’s warranty does not include defects due to negligence in products care. Cancellation and Product Returns
Changes to the Webshop and the Agreement
Lapponia Jewelry reserves the right to make changes to the Webshop, its polices and the Agreement at any time. If the Agreement is changed, Lapponia Jewelry will post a notification of the said change at the front page of the Webshop. Modified Agreement will apply to all orders made after the notice is posted to the front page of the Webshop.
Lapponia Jewelry shall not be liable for any breach of its obligations under this Agreement or delays in performing or failure to perform in accordance with this Agreement, which are attributable to causes beyond Lapponia Jewelry’s reasonable control, including without limitation fires, strikes, labor disputes, wars, natural catastrophe, acts or interventions by any governmental authority, failure of a common carrier, supplier, hardware, software, browser, network failure or malfunction.
Liability and Mandatory Consumer Legislation
Applicable Law and Disputes
This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Finland, excluding its choice of laws provisions. Any dispute arising out of or related to this Agreement shall be settled in Finland at the Helsinki district court.
